Overview
\nThe Global Support Organization at TIBCO prides itself on providing world class technical support services to all our customers and partners worldwide. We now have an open position as API Developer Support Engineer in our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. In this position, you will assist our customers and partners with development and troubleshooting of custom solutions and with integrating the TIBCO Spotfire product suite in complex environments. The TIBCO Spotfire software can be extended and integrated using powerful API\u2019s, using primarily C#, Python, JavaScript and Java. You will work with many customers, projects and issues in parallel and will get the opportunity to learn lots of new technologies and skills.<\/p>\n

TIBCO Spotfire Support is strategically located around the world in several time zones, including Seattle (US), Palo Alto (US), Boston (US), Pune (India), Sydney (Aus) and Gothenburg (Sweden). You will work as a member of the TIBCO Spotfire Global Support Organization from the Gothenburg office in Sweden, and collaborate with colleagues and customers around the world.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide guidance and assistance to partners and customers with implementation, integration and customization of the TIBCO Spotfire products, and with the use of the TIBCO Spotfire API\u2019s.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide email\/WebEx\/phone consultation to troubleshoot, debug and solve customer issues, with special focus on questions\/issues\/errors related to custom development.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Write code examples and best practice guides related to API development and publish in the TIBCO Community and knowledge base.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Understand the problems reported by customers and reproduce locally in the Support lab
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Accurately and completely document problems, solutions, and defects in the Support call tracking system (Salesforce Service Cloud)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Investigate and provide workarounds as applicable
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Collaborate with other departments, such as Product Engineering and Professional Services as required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Participate in side-projects aiming at improving usability, supportability and quality of the TIBCO Spotfire products
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Learn and expand your knowledge of TIBCO Spotfire and its associated products and technologies
\nQualifications
\nYou have a passion for computers and programming and probably started coding and exploring computers long before your formal education. You are naturally curious and always stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. You like challenges and problem solving, and you strive for great results. You are a good team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer orientated attitude.<\/p>\n

Requirements
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0A degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or related subjects.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Experience in systems development in some of the following: C#.NET, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML\/CSS, R.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Strong time management and organizations skills. Self-directed.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Moderate verbal skills in Swedish.
